FOR TRADE CONTRACTORS & ESTIMATORS

The spec book, read.
Your scope, cited to the page.

Breeze is a spec-reading service for subcontractors. You email it a project manual, it reads the whole thing, and it sends back a report for your trade: what's in your scope, which products are specified, what's excluded, and what's worth a question before bid day. Every claim in the report is cited to its spec section and page — open any citation to check it.

WHAT'S IN A BREEZE REPORT

Four sections. The parts of the book that cost you money.

01Your scope

What the spec puts on your trade, section by section. Includes work the book buries in other divisions that general contractors expect you to catch.

02Specified products

Manufacturers, model numbers, and performance requirements. You'll know whether the spec is sole-source or open before you call your supplier.

03Exclusions

What's carried by other trades, so you don't price work that isn't yours. Each exclusion cites the section that assigns it elsewhere.

04Open questions

Conflicts between the spec and addenda, missing details, and anything an estimator would flag for an RFI before locking a number.

RFI DRAFTING

Found the gap? It's already an RFI.

Breeze doesn't just flag what's missing or contradictory in the spec — it drafts the RFI. Pick the items that matter, generate a clean RFI block or email, and copy it straight to your GC. Every item cites the exact section it came from, so nothing's invented.

YOUR DOCUMENTS

Bid documents are sensitive. Here's how we treat them.

You're handing over project manuals before bid day. That only works if you know exactly where they go and who can see them.

Encrypted, both directions

Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. They're stored in your company's workspace and nowhere else.

Only your company sees your projects

Reports and uploads are scoped to your account. Nobody outside your company can open them, including other Breeze customers.

Not used to train AI

Your manuals and reports are processed to build your report and for nothing else. They are not used to train models.

Delete anytime

Remove a project and its documents whenever you want. Deleted means deleted, including the stored PDF.

Good to know.

Does Breeze estimate cost or labor hours?
No — and that's deliberate. Breeze tells you what's in scope, what's specified, and what to question. Your pricing stays yours; we just make sure you never miss a requirement buried on page 600.
What file types and sizes can I send?
PDFs, drawing sets, images, and plain text — by email or upload. Thousand-page project manuals are routine; if a single file is very large you may need to split it, and we'll tell you if so.
How does Breeze handle addenda?
It detects addenda automatically and treats a higher-numbered addendum as superseding the base spec, calling out exactly what changed and the controlling page so you bid the current requirements.
Can my whole team use one account?
Yes. Invite your estimators, and each person can email in specs from their own inbox. Billing is per user, managed by your admin.

Try it on a real bid.

The trial runs on your own project manual, so you can judge the report against a job you already know.
